The Coast at Sunset

I love this pictures of Jeremiah and I. This is from when we drove down HWY 1 with his parents. Such a handsome man.

Christmas in Cali

It was so great getting to meet and spend time with Jeremiah's family. It was a crazy trip of hello, nice to meet you, let's drive a million hours, have a couple of parties, and see you next time! But it was wonderful and everyone was so welcoming. I am looking forward to all the fun times we'll have with both of our families!

Yosemite National Park

We took a day break at the beginning of our trip to CA to visit Yosemite and our friend Aimee! Both were beautiful! And congrats to the expanding Morales Family! We are so happy for you!

Christmas in IN

We had a wonderful whirlwind Christmas vacation with both of our families the last couple of weeks. Here are some pics from our day in Indiana. We cut down a Christmas tree...or at least we supervised. We had a great dinner. And we had great chill out time with my side of the family.

1st Snow of the Season

It snowed yesterday in the early morning, but today it was still here. They are calling for more tonight.... but the snowman the neighbor kids made was too good to pass up! Had to get a picture before it gets buried below the new layer of snow!

Christmas Cookies

A little late on this post! My mom, sister, and niece came over and made cookies with me a couple of weekends ago. It was nice having the company and we had a great time. Danielle and Arsalie played Jeremiah's piano and my favorite cookie is totally the only that looks like an angry oriental man... too funny.

Clarification

For those of you who have checked out my parents blog...let me clarify. My sister is knocked up again and is responsible for the 1.5 grandkids comment in their bio. Just in case there were any silly ideas that it was me! um..... no...... :)

Luckily it is this pretty lady going to have another one of these little stinkers!

View from my Window

This is what I woke up to this morning!

Sleepy

Here is my wonderful soon to be wife sleeping peacefully.

Cold Walk

My grandfather has carved all of his grandkids' initials into a tree in one of the woods. We walked back after lunch (those of us who were crazy enough) to check in on it. If you look closely you may notice that someone's initials are backwards....yes it is mine! A great memory though....

Maxwell had a good Thanksgiving

Maxwell wore his new Winter collar to Thanksgiving. After lunch that day, I let Maxwell out of the garage to play on my grandparents farm and there were probably 10 cats sitting outside the garage door.... I have never seen so many cats be more freaked out all at one time. Max was so excited, but none of them wanted to play. After the mad rush, we noticed some of the cats made it up a tree to get away.....try 6 cats in one small tree right outside the room we all were sitting and talking in. It was pretty funny, and those cats were stuck up there for hours because they were too scared of Maxwell to come down!

Wow...

So I made tons of different types of bread and rolls to take to my Grandmother's for Thanksgiving and only 1 thing turned out just totally terrible. These were probably my biggest success in the visual category and I heard they tasted pretty good too.

Quality Time

Jeremiah and I spending "quality time" together. We are spoiled by the webcams, but the time difference is a killer. 0945 for me: 2345 for him! He just looks so sweet when he is sleeping...

Saturday at the Park

I went to the park with my family this weekend. Arsalie walked Maxwell there all by herself. We checked out the slide and the other routine playground stuff, then I taught her how to roll down hills....which she tends to roll up not down. After chasing Max around a little we took a snack break before walking home! Great end to a great weekend.

Aquadoodle

Arsalie (and I) enjoying her birthday present (she turned 2). I have to admit the Aquadoodle is a lot of fun. Thanks to Jeremiah for helping pick it out!

Webcam with the Kid

Arsalie talking to Jeremiah on the webcam.

Roasting Marshmallows....Inside

Arsalie and I enjoy delicious marshmallows slow roasted by me in the fireplace at my parents house! I think she enjoyed them more than me....

Aimee

This is my Aimee, well she really isn't mine, she is Job's Aimee, but I would claim her any day. She is the best friend anyone could have and I am lucky enough that she shares her life and experiences with me! She has been an enourmous source of guidance, strength, and peace in our (Jeremiah and I) lives so far. We love you and miss you Aimee and cannot wait to see you in December!

So Blessed

This is an e-mail I recieved from Jeremiah when we were still stuggling with plans to get married and just to see each other!

"I just wanted to write to you before I went to bed. Thank you for waking up for me as early as you do, I know you're tired all the time because of me and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it.It's always so wonderful to see you. Don't let things get you down, just know in the end that we will be together and that God is watching over us and he is fighting our battles. Bottom line, we can't lose ifwe're living our lives for Him. If you ever have a worry just pray and know that I'll be doing the same. Remember that the bible says "pray without ceasing." Whether things are good or bad we need to pray. He will give us strength in our areas of weakness if we just pray. I don't mean to preach Baby, just put your mind at ease and let's just trust in Him the way we should. I will see you in the morning and I'll write you more when I wake up. Have a great day and keep smiling, your patients need it as well as you. I know you're a great nurse, I can tell by just being with you. I'm so proud and blessed to be with a woman that has a wonderful heart. I will see you soon. I Love You Lydia "
